I was born on the 25th of January 1979 in Frankenmarkt, Austria. I have two brothers, Kurt and Norbert, two nieces, Jasmine (13) and Eva (10), and two nephews Manuel (11) and Andreas (8). I had a quite agile and lively childhood. In the summer months I loved playing soccer and tennis as well as constructing tree houses in the in the nearby forest. In the winter months I was used to go skiing and building snow castles and of course playing soccer, (indoor soccer).

I attended primary school in Fornach, Vöcklamarkt and Vöcklabruck till the age of 15. Afterwards I made an apprenticeship as a retail salesman in Vöcklamarkt.
In the ripe old age of 20 I became a shop manager of a Intersport Shop in Vöcklamarkt.
During all this years I spent a lot of time with my friends Markus, Luky and Stefan. We had a great time togehter I’m thankful for all the experiences we made.

In 2002 because of missing career opportunities I decided my self against the resistance of my former boss and my parents to study at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg Business Economics.

Well, in 2002 I packed my belongings and settled to Salzburg. The first time in Salzburg was really cool and not only characterized by studying. I nearly became a professional Beach Volleyball Player. Everything I missed and what I am still missing are 15 cm more range of coverage. But due to my tremendous ability to jump I could balance this little handicap. ;)

So thank you for the good time in Salzburg guys, and Sabine... I want to thank especially you for the cool common time there.

In 2005 I made a semester abroad in Alicante Spain.

The university is absolutly gorgeous. Ex post the time in Alicante was really great, maybe sometimes a bit too hot, especially at night ;), but all in all a awesome time!!!
Due to my "companeros de piso" Ro y Ste there was always time for a joke!
